We Americans should remember that Canada has different laws than the US regarding civil rights.

We should also remember that at almost all G8 and 20 summits protesters have firebombed places, destroyed property both public and private, and assualted people. They have also killed people. And contrary to Jones’ claims, they weren’t agent provocateurs.

Have police overreacted at times? Sure. But with violence by protestors expected to be a given should we be that surprised? As for Alex Jones, he’s a typical demagogue and liar and does much to discredit real complaints of police misconduct.
