Man Assaulted & Arrested at Alaska State Fair for ‘Impeach Obama’ Sign

People, this is not okay.

So we have another insane leftist who doesn’t understand that when an event says no advertising or political signs he doesn’t have a right to disobey it. Furthermore he resisted arrest, tried to fake he was being hurt and falsely said he was being tortured. You’re right, such conduct is not OK.

LEFTIST, I think you may mean Rightist, LeRauch is on the right, and Independant of both Republican or Democrat. It;s interesting that you can tell his condition, I’ve got a broken shoulder that would not have faired too well in his handling. As usual, America’s public restraint is not the issue, it’s the ‘private’ Blue Shirt’s who’ve replaced the Brown Shirt’s of an earlier day, and the National Socialist Party err, Nazi’s!

Well, Lyndon was once in the Socialist Workers Party, the US Labor Party, and the Democratic Party. But it’s been said that he’s so far Left that he rub’s shoulders with the Neocons. But then the neoconservatives are self described as former liberals who were mugged by reality but refuse to press charges. In any event, depending on the issue he’s been all over the political map.

As for you shoulder, what does it have to do with the price of rice in China? As for your definition of the Nazis, I see you understand that a left/right straight line is not always the best illustration of political positions.

By the way, it’s not private security that worries me as much as it’s the police SWAT tactics, tactics meant for combat, that really worry me, or should I say scare the hell out of me, and I’m ex-military.

So the state fair (as an event) can make an event rule that is an arrestable offense? What State or Federal LAW did he break? NONE!
His (and your) Constitutional rights were trampled upon. Its only because his sign didn’t support the exalted one (Obama). If we don’t get these nut cases out of office and get some folks in there who respect the country, the Constitution, the citizenry, then all will be lost for America. End of story.

Many venues have rules against advertising or political signs. Refuse to cooperate with police and you risk being arrested for disorderly conduct. But then some people prefer no rules, right?
By the way, I say impeach Mr. Obama.

Had this happened when “W” is office, it would have been all over the news. The injustice the poor man suffered and the fact his rights were being abused would have been crammed down our throats. What happened there is WRONG.

YES, we want President Obama IMPEACHED, He is NOT a naturalized citizen, He is the worst thing that could and has happened to our Country. We the People of the United States of America, want him out of office……….. We want him impeached NOW!! The House of Represenatives, and The Senate, are you listening to your God filled voters. We are not and never will be a Socialized, Communist Country.
President Obama needs to be impeached, he does not deserve to be commander and chief of this great nation………Furthermore: he should not and will not receive full benefits of tax payers money, for the rest of his life, impeach him now! We are depending on the HOUSE AND THE SENATE TO BE TRUE TO THE AMERICAN CITIZENS.

COUNT FOR SOMETHING, OR YOU WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING.

Fran, Obama may be a naturalized citizen, i.e., formerly a British citizen by virtue of being born outside the US to a British father but became a US citizen, but that would mean he’s not a NATURAL BORN citizen which is the requirement to hold the office of the presidency or vice-presidency.

If that is so and he were impeached, found guilty, and removed from office, would any law signed by him be legal and if not would they have to go thru both the House and Senate again, not just be signed by Biden? One other question, what if Obama were impeached by the House but the Democrats in the Senate refused to provide the votes to convict and remove him, what would happen?

As the man pointed out, anyone with anything commercial on a T Shirt should have been arrested as well. This was clearly a case of picking him out because of what was on his sign. Expect much more of this to follow.

This is really disgusting! Regardless of what kind of sign this man was holding, he should never have been treated in that manner. Does anyone know what happened after this video was shot?

The only excusable basis for how this went down would have been if the protester was already on an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Even if that were the case (hasn’t been claimed as yet), the cops/goons acted stupidly by not announcing that fact to the crowd who were there to witness the take-down. They didn’t because, apparently, he wasn’t.

And is there anyone with the IQ capable of reading this who really believes that if his sign had read “Viva Castro” (or some such) and he’d have had hair down to his arse, been dancing on an American flag while changing “Allahu Akbar” and “Death To America,” that he would have been afforded anything other than a police/security cordon of PROTECTION… of his freedom of speech and expression?

This is an open-and-shut case of OFFICIAL silencing of a political message that is not popular with the powers that be (only for a few moments more, hopefully). Every one of those security goons, that State cop and the local Barneys should lose their jobs over this Brownshirt travesty. That was patently unexcusable.

And what of those manly Alaskans who stood by and watched a small man on a crutch taken down by two big-bellied rent-a-cops? A pox and a shameful indictment on every one of them who did not get bloodied and, perhaps, arrested by rushing to that man’s defense. That’s not the stalwart stuff of Americans, or at least what made America great and free (once upon a time). Don’t know about the rest of America, but from what is indicated in this video, Alaska is largely populated by limp-wristed pussies.

That Larouchie called it right. Those goons under the color of office declared WAR on him, and by extension, everyone else who would be so politically incorrect as to stand on Constitutional principles. And the Alaskans surrendered without so much as getting their hairdo mussed. What wimps. How French-like. Despicable.

If the man had been chanting “Allahu Akbar” and “Death To America” he might well have ended up in Federal custody. And if war was declared on him then he might have been shot or sent to Gitmo. Claiming war has been declared against you is also a tacit admission that you claim the right of using lethal force in self-defense.

The police don’t need to have an outstanding warrant to arrest someone. What isn’t said and needs to be investigated is were there rules for the event and were they made known to the public. If the rules prohibited political and commercial signs, and T-shirt with commercial info aren’t considered signs although people have been asked to change or leave if they wore shirts with offensive messages, he was given numerous warning to that effect. He should have demanded to see the rule, regulation, or law that prohibited such signs. To disobey police order to abide by valid rules is disturbing the peace. If there was no rule, or no valid one, against such signs beforehand, then the arrest was wrong.

But evidently some people believe in anarchy and even violence. Or maybe they just hate “pigs.”
